Chat causing page loop with product links

    Hi 3CX

    The chat is an amazing plugin but I have a minor issue within blog pages.

    When a link is added to a product within a post page, it seems to make the box flash where it constantly loads.

    Any ideas how I can stop this.

    I can’t seem to stop the plugin showing on post pages only which would be sufficient.

    Hi @lemongrenade,

    Glad you like the product!

    Could you please tell us exactly how to replicate the issue? By visiting the URL you posted nothing weird is happening.

    P.S: We might consider adding an option to exclude the chat on posts/pages in a future release. 🙂

    At the bottom of the post page, a link is added to a product within woocommerce. That product box seems to flash on a loop (at least within Firefox browser, but am pretty sure it happens in chrome too).

    If you click on the blog page, there are around 4 articles all with a product link which flash repeatedly.

    I think it is a constant https with the chat option on the page.

    I am afraid I cannot replicate this or Firefox or Chrome. Can you please check if it makes any difference being logged in/out? Maybe it happens only if you are logged in?

    You’re a star 3CX! That’s exactly what the issue was, it only loops when logged in! It has baffled me for a week or so now and now it’s fine as is.

    I am not sure if its just admin that sees it, but the website is not open for registering to members so all good there.
