Hi, it looks like your site is failing to get the font files from the plugin, which is causing the icons to break. I’m not sure why that would happen, but it could be a permissions issue on your server.
Can you try deleting Holler Box and reinstalling?
I’m having this same problem. Does using a caching plugin prevent it from working correctly? I’m using litespeed cache and cloudflare.
@ccarmical can you link me to the page with the issue? I will take a look.
Hi Scott,
It’s on https://marketing.1-find.com/
I have it set to pop up on exit detection.
This is a theme conflict, but I’m going to release an update today that should fix it. Please update when version 1.5.5 is available, clear caches, and test.
Darn, still doesn’t show up right. Can I add some custom CSS?
It looks like you have some type of CSS/JS minifier, perhaps in a caching plugin. That could be the issue, also your theme is overriding all other icons. Unfortunately there’s not much else I can do, you may be able to override the Holler Box icons with your own with some custom CSS.
Roger that. I’ll see what I can do. Thanks!
Same issue for me….I have tried a vanilla install of WordPress locally with only one plugin (Holler Box) and I also couldn’t get the icons to load
Did anyone have a fix for this? I don’t think it is a caching issue (but I am not sure)
Scott said he’s got an update coming later this week that will fix it. There is a workaround with custom CSS if you already have an icon font installed that you can call and switch out for fontello.
1.5.6 has been released with a fix for icons, please update.
fantastic! Thanks for fixing it
