Chat room permissions

    Hello,

    I’d like to know if it’s possible to create a Chat room where only Admins can post a message visible by everyone. Like an announcements channel where the Admin role can send message and registered users have permission to only read them ? If no, do you plan to implement such a feature in a near future ?

    Hello @cooljojo

    Yes, it’s possible now. Please go to General settings and set:
    – Read-only For Roles (select all roles except for Admin)
    – Disable Anonymous Users (enable this)
    This way only admins will have rights to post messages. All other roles can just read them.

    So I already bought your plugin because I’ve already been told that it’s possible.
