Chat Widget JS Blocking poor performance

The request to static.zdassets.com/ekr/snippet.js?key=###

Seems to be occurring early and blocking/non-async.

Maybe because it’s dynamically loaded from
https://ekr.zdassets.com/snippets/web_widget/####.zendesk.com
?dynamic_snippet=true

Anyway, this seems counter to the recommendations here
https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039299153

Would it be possible to defer ZD Chat from loading at all until the page is actually complete? or at least async?
