    How to setup fifu to check every external featured image link, if the image link is not working anymore, remove the featured image automatically

    Hi, @fodisery.

    I’m not sure it’s viable.

    Let’s say you have 1,000,000 URLs. It would take days to make the verification from your site and it would consume a lot of your site resources. And then you would repeat that again and again forever. So your site would be always busy accessing the links.

    A smarter alternative would be checking URLs when the visitor accesses a page. After N failures in M days, the plugin would remove the link. Would it work for you?

    Alternatively, “FIFU Cloud” and “Save in the media library” are able to save the images, avoiding the problem. But we can’t discuss that here, because they are not free, they are commercial.
