    Hi,

    Q: How can I set the total to see if a particular checkbox is checked?

    A: The checkboxes accepts dependencies, if you want set the total if a particular checkbox is checked, set the calculated field for total as dependent of the checkbox.

    The same occur with your other question. You can include a dependent field in your form, and add it to your equation, if the checkbox is checked the field will be added to the equation, if the checkbox is unchecked the field’s value is considered as zero, and not vary the equation’s result.
