Checkbox CSS

This is a great plugin, very functional, thank you author!

I am a bit of a newbie in terms of css, so I am wondering if anoyne can help me find out how to style the checkboxes so that they don’t output in raw html but in a more modern way? Something simple like this: https://bootsnipp.com/snippets/BEbZz
