Checkbox is reset after submit with missing required fields

Hello everyone,

using version 4.8 of CF7, I encounter the following problem:
* I fill out a form and leave out one or more required fields. I also set a checkbox to active that is inactive by default.
* I click the submit button.
* The page refreshes. All fields that I set previously still have their content, but the checkbox does not – it is reset to the default state (inactive). (Of course the warnings about the required fields show up.)

Why is the state of the checkboxes not saved?
