Checkbox issue

    I added a checkbox field to the database as a signup field. It is set up as ‘not required’, but for some reason it always is checked. When I go to the database list, edit a participant and uncheck the box – after I hit submit or apply the record is redisplayed with the checkbox checked.

    The first thing to check here is the field configuration. Check the default value of the field, make sure that is what you want it to be. That will be the initial value of the field, it does not change the value of the field once the form is submitted.

    Second thing to check is the configuration of the field options. Make sure you have that right, here is a link to the docs for your reference: Field Options
