checkbox limit choices

Hey there!
Is there a way to limit the number of selectable checkboxes?
I’ve set the min/max checked options for the validation, but user can still flag more than the exact number (even if he can’t add the product to cart).

I wish the user could flag no more and no less than 3 checkboxes for one field and no more and no less than 11 in another field.

Is it possibile?
