Checkboxes Filter in Front End

Great Plugin so far! Thanks a lot.

I’d like to build an advanced filter option for visitors to filter the posts (custom post type) by several custom taxonomies AND custom fields.

Users should have the possibility to choose several custom taxonomy terms together with several custom field values (for example price range) at once.

I don’t need any search option, just pure filtering with string parameters.

I’d like to know if this can be accomplished with this plugin.

Axenstar86, I don’t quite understand what you meant. The plugin is support multiple taxonomies and custom fields at once.

Hi Ron,

I need to know if I can create checkboxes from where the visitors can choose the the terms and fields and then send the request.

is there a checkbox mode instead of dropdowns?

The plugin now not support checkbox. However, it already in my todo list, just I don’t have the time to complete it now, cause I am currently busy with something else. Hard to spare the time to do it. Hopefully I can complete it in near future.

I agree, I think this plugin would be the best one out there if it supported checkboxes.

@ron_dev thanks for your hard work. It really shows it in the plugin. It’s a great plugin to build custom/advanced search filters.

The checkboxes idea is a must, especially when you’ve got conditions like “and” where all of the selected needs to match. This condition is useless at this point in time since users can’t pick more than one option.

If there is a custom way to do this, i’d love to know.

Anyway, take your time and thanks for a great plugin.
