checkboxes layout

Hi,

I’m trying to customize the layout for a series of checkboxes in contact form 7 so each item is inline with each other and NOT separated by line breaks. I have only found references of people wanting to do the opposite.

All of the references I have discovered must be outdated because it seems that contact form 7 now has its checkboxes’ default display as the popular display-block or line breaks. I want to revert back from this vertical layout.

On https://contactform7.com/custom-layout-for-checkboxes-and-radio-buttons/ , it only states how to customize to the vertical, “block” display. Other references state the same. NOT rendering checkboxes as inline instead of block.
