Checkboxes preselected on Edit Gallery

    In the Edit Gallery I can see a list of the images uploaded.

    I can select some and update the text or delete them.

    Issues:
    – the checkboxes are preselected. Dangerous in case of deletion.
    – after selecting some and applying changes, or deleting the photos, when the page reloads the checkboxes are still selected, but are now potentially referring to other images in case of previous deletion.

    Solution for both: the checkboxes should all be cleared at every loading/refresh of the page.
    There is no valid reason to do anything else, the risks outweigh the advantages.

    thank you for this note!
    I absolutely agree. In the moment it is not the best solution. The checkboxes should serve just to select elements. Not to show which one is activated or deactivated. I put this on prio list. It will be improved soon…

    Oh, NOW after your last update and the coloured backgrounds I see why some were preselected and some not.
    I didn’t notice that I had to approve each one of them 🙂

    In this case you should split the activation/deactivation and deletion. If you combine the checkboxes, issues will result.
    I think that a second checkbox per photo called “to be deleted” will solve the problem.

    Right now it’s very easy to understand that active images are selected and so on, but still when a single image has to be deleted, there is risk of getting some other ones selected and deleted.

    Also, I haven’t checked yet, but is the “Reset all informed” going to pop up a confirmation dialog, to ensure that REALLY everything ig going to be deleted?
    Also, a better English translation would be “Reset all information” or, more clear, “Delete ALL images and data”

    It is definetly not the final solution in the moment.
