    Dear CodeRockz Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am using WooCommerce Delivery & Pickup Date Time Pro on my website cheesythegoat.com, and recently encountered a critical issue that affects our daily operations. I would like to request your guidance on how to properly prevent checkout when an off day has been added after a customer has already selected a pickup/delivery date.
    Issue Description

    1. A customer selects a pickup/delivery date on the checkout Step 1 page using WooDelivery’s date picker.
    2. The customer then proceeds to the final checkout page (Step 3 – “Order & Payment”).
    3. At the same time, our staff adds this exact date to “Off Days” in the WooDelivery admin and saves the settings.
    4. However, the customer can still click “Place Order” and successfully complete the payment, even though that date is now marked as unavailable on Off Days.

This creates a serious operational problem for us, because customers are able to submit orders for dates that are no longer available or have already been cut off.

We need a reliable mechanism so that:

    • If a date is added to Off Days at any time before the customer clicks “Place Order” the checkout should be blocked, and
    • The customer must be forced to go back to Step 1 to reselect a valid date.

    Could you please advise:

    1. Which server-side hook or method does your plugin recommend to validate the selected date right before order creation?
    2. Is there a built-in way in the plugin to prevent checkout if a selected date becomes an Off Day after the customer already selected it?
    3. If not, what is the correct way to implement a “final validation” just before payment redirection, so that the order cannot proceed?

Our goal is simply to ensure that no order can be placed for a date listed in Off Days, even if that date was added after the customer selected it.

This feature is extremely important for our business workflow and prevents invalid orders from slipping through when our team updates off days.

We would greatly appreciate your guidance or a recommended implementation approach.

Thank you very much for your assistance, looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,
    Colleen
