Checkout JSON.Parse Error

    Hello. I am encountering a checkout error on my site through some gateways, and I was wondering if someone might be able to provide some help. I can’t seem to figure it out, but it seems like its been a common problem. I am on the Avada theme. Whenever I checkout using COD, or Credit card through woothemes own plugin, it seems to throw this error:

    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

    Does anyone know how I can solve this. It passes the order through to my dashboard, however it throws customers off and they end up sending me 5 orders and then calling. I would greatly appreciate any wisdom someone might be able to provide.
