Checkout missing shipping address

    I have setup shipping zone to US, free shipping, local pickup. The shipping options: calculation enable the shipping calculator on the cart page, shipping destination: default to customer shipping address.

    I have no other options I can select other than shipping classes, which is empty.

    When I log in, I can change the shipping and billing address no problem, but if I go to the checkout, shipping address does not display at all, and I do not get the option to make it appear either. I did check WC()->cart->needs_shipping_address() and it returns false no matter what I do.

    I have tried to disable all plugins, use different themes, no results.

    That’s quite strange. You must either have the settings mis-configured, or a theme/plugin interferring.

    Go through both steps again and make sure you haven’t missed anything. Check the settings at WooCommerce > Settings > General, and also at WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Option.

    Then try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce again. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    I need both billing and shipping addresses at checkout.

    What is done, in Shipping Options “Default to customer shipping address” is selected. All plugins are disabled except WooCommerce.

    Can not find a solution. Any help, please?

    I have solved the problem.

    1. Add Shipping Zones.
    2. Go to Shipping option
    3. Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page
    4. Shipping Destination : Default to customer shipping address

    Save and check…

    Asit, thank you so much! It worked for me.
    Only I want to add that when you add a Shipping Zone, make sure to define the shipping method next to the Zone name (free, flat, etc). Otherwise, nothing will change.
