checkout of subversion returns error

That usually means that your web proxy doesn’t allow HTTP extension methods.

This error comes for me too, but i know, that i’m behind transparent proxy. I’m allowed to use other ports, so it’s no problem for me to use subversion repositories at other ports (most of svn repositories allows access through port 81 too for this case).

It’s possible to allow access through port 81 to svn repository ?
So instead http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/trunk/ i will use http://svn.automattic.com:81/wordpress/trunk/.
