Hi @kilian94,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this problem.
When you go to the Events > Settings > Payments section, do you see Tickets Commerce as enabled? If you go to Stripe or Paypal, are these enabled or disabled? (there’s a toggle on top of each gateway page).
Best,
Juan.

Thanks for the fast answer.
1. Tickets Commerce is enabled and there are 2 buttons: Connect to Stripe and Connect to PayPal. Which is a little weird because after I tried to connect to our stripe account (just a test, we don’t want to use stripe), the stripe button changed to Edit connection and the PayPal button stays the same even after the connection is established (see 2.).
2. PayPal is enabled as well. On the PayPal page, it says connected, there are 4 Webhooks (just the names, without green check marks or similar) and there is a Resync payment connection button.
Hi @kilian94,
Thanks for the prompt response.
1. Yes, once you connect to any given Gateway you are then able to edit the connection. If I understand correctly that’ll be showing because you connected to Stripe. Even if you’re not going to use it. I’d recommend that if you’re not going to use Stripe you either disable it (use the toggle in Events > Settings > Payments > Stripe) or you disconnect directly.
2. Regarding PayPal. The first thing you can check is that Tickets Commerce is not in test mode. To check that you should go to Events > Settings > Payments and see if it’s in test mode. It should be pretty easy to see if Tickets Commerce is in test mode because there’s an orange message on the admin bar.
If you’re still having problems, could you please try the following when reconnecting PayPal:
– Update to the latest version of Event Tickets.
– Disconnect PayPal
– Clear cookies
– Clear cache
– Clear transients
– Reconnect PayPal
Another solution worth checking is whether you have a firewall or application that is blocking communication between your site and PayPal. This might be something caused by one of your plugins or by your hosting service’s firewall protection.
And finally, another possibility can be that there’s something with your WordPress REST API configuration. Have you changed anything with that? Or do you think any of the plugins that you’re using could be affecting this?
Best,
Juan.

Hi @juanfra
Stripe is already disabled and Ticket Commerce is not in test mode. Reconnecting was performed as described, without success. Plugins should not be the problem, as I tried to disable most of them and also had the same problem on another site with completely different plugins. I have not changed REST API configuration.
One thing I can imagine is that it is the hosting service, since both use the same provider. Will check this out, if you have any other tips feel free to share them.
Tanks,
Kilian

You can close the Issue. The problem was a not fully completed identity verification.
Hi @kilian94,
Thanks for the follow-up.
I’m glad it’s sorted out.
