    Hi,

Today I tried to create a child theme. For now I just used your child template (GitHub), as I saw that colors and some others customizations did not match I did my research and copied the serialized string option as you described here .

I still have an issue, some colors do match but some images don’t and header/footer colors do not adapt too. I don’t really know what I can do now!

Find here two compareason screenshots to detail this issue :

  • Hi @n0xew,

I just wondering, did you try this feature in our theme : https://cl.ly/332V0w1V1s2T

It helps you move all settings in child theme easy.

    Let me know!

    Hi,

I did not use that, I did not know it existed, this is nice! Unfortunately the issue persists, even after using it…

    Hi @n0xew,

It might be due when change to child theme, the theme mod option name is different and it couldn’t transfer the image background.
Please try add image again in Customize => Hero section => Background Media.

    Let me know!

    Hi,

This is strange, I went to Live Preview of the Child Theme to do the modifications you suggested, and without having done anything the problem was solved.

As I was on a different computer, I suspected that my website cache was not up to date. On the computer I encountered the issue on, I cleared the cache, and after refreshing it did in fact display the image with the correct color for the header.

So thanks for the help anyway, I hope that this will help other people solvbe this problem!
