Child Theme Gone Haywire [Theme: terrifico]
-
Our organization migrated over to a new site in early 2015 and our IT guy (a volunteer from our community with some web knowledge) made changes directly to our theme’s CSS.
I’m trying to find a way to create a child theme from the file with the changes. One suggestion I found in these forums was to copy the entire CSS and add an import to the top for future updates. It creates a lot of duplicate, but could be whittled away over time.
This isn’t working and I’m wondering if I need to copy other files from the parent theme into the child theme with similar import functions. I’m not sure where else he’s made changes.
Is there some other reason why this child theme strategy might not be working? Is there a better way to deal with this other than picking through everything he’s done?

Thanks in advance!
