Child Theme Help & Question

First I want to say how wonderful I found this and thank you all for being involved. I know nothing; I’m not totally green to themes and WordPress but only because I have been ripped off so often by many people saying they would work on this site for me over the last year and doing nothing but depleting every dime I had saved for this project. Sort of forced to learn on my own so here I am. I have paid for a them that pretty much has everything I think I will need and have installed it several times and worked with learned as much as this old brain can hold.

Now I think I am ready to get this done but I have a question about the Child Theme for this theme. The theme I am going to install is the Blaszok Ultimate Multi-Purpose Theme. I understand how to set up the child theme etc. but what I am confused about is if it is necessary to install the entire Blaszok theme package and all pages included in it in order to create only the one Theme layout that I would like to use? The Blaszok theme itself is quite large and many of the pages would not be used? Any help would be so very appreciated. Thanks All
