Child theme isn't working

    Hello again,
    I transfered my site in public just now
    http://www.kefaliste.rs
    but all the work I have done in last 10 days (working in localhost) are back to the same as it was in Kyma free theme…I made lot of changes on kyma theme, so please help me. Hope that I will not have to do it all again.
    NOTE: meny is visible as well as pages content, but details like double title on page, authors name and date, logo picture, pages links in very bottom footer etc are back as in original
    I created Child theme by myself using instruction I’v found…

    Hi,

    I think you have done something wrong.

    have you import the content from local to server using XML file.

    So your path not working properly.

    Second is you didn’t create a “Child-Theme” in right way/

    If possible to send “Child-Theme” package link.

    So we can check it.

    I probably did something wrong…I’m beginer 🙂
    I don’t know what do you mean by that ‘import the content from local to server using XML file’. I pack whole folder + export my database .sql + add changed wp-config.php and imported all that on server using ftp.

    OK, thank you!
    But can you be more specific in this please…
    Please download and make your changes in it.-what changes I have to make and where? Do you mean in style.css like changing desctription, author or? What I have to change and which part have to stay the same..Sorry but this is confusing for me 🙂

    After performed the changes activate it.
    After activation I can do changes in Genereal options-custom.css like I did in localhost and save it? All the future custom changes that I’ll do will be safe?

    I cannot in good conscience download or install anything from the linked site. It looks like malware. Can you post this to a site that you control with documentation on how to create a child theme that will let me use the control panel to configure the site?

    Hi marienlucky,

    Yes, It’s a “Child-Theme” package only.

    So now you have to make changes in this package like changing a description,

    author etc. and what ever you want to customized.
