Child Theme looses changes every day

    Hi all!!

    I have a serious problem with a Cherry Framework Child Theme and I need help please!

    I’m doing some style modifications for a friend, but after a couple of hours or a day, all the changes I’ve made get lost!

    I’m not changing the main-style.css, just the style.css and the header.php.
    All the modifications are made through Appearence -> Editor, so I understand that I’m modifying the Child files and not the Framework ones.

    So, why it could be that my changes are going back to the previous version of those files after some hours?

    I’ve even uploaded an image to images folder and when all the styles get rolled back, that image is missing too!

    Any ideas!? Am I using the child theme in a wrong way?

    Any help would be really appreciated!!

    Check for a backup plugin of some kind that might be restoring files to a previously-set point or something like that. Or, maybe you have something going on with a cache that is somehow reverting your changes.

    Thanks for your help!

    The only backup plugin that it’s active is the Cherry Option, which has a backup and restore function.
    But that’s a plugin packed with the framework so I can’t deactivate it without loosing some configuration of the theme.

    Regarding cache, you mean SERVER chache?

    Caching can be on your site or server, yes.
