Child theme problems

Hello,

I started a thread a while ago about problems I had with a child theme not allowing customisation, where if I go back to the parent theme the styles options work in customisation. I was asked to turn on debug mode, which I did, but I never heard back from anyone. My thread also seems to no longer exist either.
