• Hi,

Great plugin but I didn’t succed to make it work with a child theme. When I created the child theme I didn’t set another text-domain. Unfortunately the strings’ content was not changed when I switch the language. For the parent theme all worked as it should.

Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks.

    Which theme do you use?

In the child theme customizer, did you complete the fields with the strings that you need to translate?

Yes, actually I exported the customizer fields and imported them in the child’s customizer fields.

Did you see your child theme strings in the Strings Translation option?
Did you have in the Group list your child theme (Strings Translation option)?

Since there were the same and the text domain also I didn’t notice any change.
I tried to erase all the strings, but I didn’t succeded (trying to re-import them again, when the string table would be “empty”).

Since I didn’t succeded, I abandoned the ideea of a child theme an installed a simple custom css plugin that helped me customize the theme 🙂
