child theme – twenty ten

    Hello,

    This is my first attempt to make changes on a WordPress theme. (Twenty Ten)
    I was just informed that I needed to create a child theme.
    I have done so but I have already been working on the original Twenty Ten.

    My question is: Is there any way to keep the work I have already done or do I have to start all over again in the child theme?

    just copy the files you’ve modified over to your child theme.

    OK… I have done that… The Original Twenty Ten I was working on has been altered and saved. Do I need to find the original css with no modifications and put it in the original css?

    If so, how can I access that?

    would be better to, so you can be sure that your changes are all due to the child theme.

    Find it in the wp-content/themes/twentyten folder of the wordpress download.
