Child\Custom Theme?

    Since a lot of people have child themes, I just want to make sure I understand correctly.

    This plugin does not work when a child theme is installed?

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

    Our plugin is designed in such a way to track “Enhanced Ecommerce” data from the standard Woocommerce pages.

    Now, when the store has child theme then standard Woocommerce pages has been overridden & the hooks/functions which we are using in our plugin are not working with that scenario.

    Since each child theme has their own custom implementation so we are to include all the scenarios in our plugin.

    Eg: if the Transactions are not getting recorded & store has child theme then it is possible that the theme has override the standard “Thank you” page of Woocommerce (screenshot); in this case our plugin is unable to record transactions.

    If the theme does not override any standard template then you can surely try our plugin and get back to us if you found any issues.

    Again, to make sure I understand correctly – if the child theme overwrites templates, such as header.php, but NOT any WOOCOMMERCE templates, your plugin should work?
