Choose multiple variations from same dropdown

    Hi,
    I have 9 products with 2 variations each.

    Now when I create a composite product and add each product in Product > Source, for each product I choose the parent (not each individiaul variation)

    So in the end, I have 9 kind of dropdown menus for the custmoer to choose from, each dropdown shows the 4 variations.

    Problem: when a customer chooses 1 variation then adds it to the cart, if he wants another variation from this same product, it doesn’t work, it always adds the same variation to the cart.

    What would be the solution to achive this please ?

    Hi @antoine69,

    Thanks for contacting us.

    In the composite settings, have you enabled the “Accept same products” option?

    If you would like to allow buyers to choose more than 1 variation from the same product, you need to add that products to other components as well.

    If buyers want to change the chosen variation, they might need to remove the composite completely from the cart, then choose a different option and add it to the cart again.

    Hi,

    Yes the “Accept same products” option is enabled.

    So the last advice is the best but not 100% suited for customers.
