Hi, does anyone know of an option to get a tick-box in backend-posts-list or an option to choose at the backend of posts/articles for the admin to choose if a post goes to a newsletter in mailchimp or not?

I know there are options to NOT include specific posts to RSS-newsletter campaigns but that is not what we want. We would love to be able to choose specific posts in the backend/dashboard and select them with ticking a box. These selected posts goes to the next newsletter. No other posts. Only the one we selected.

Possible with mailchimp and this plugin?

    Hello Kainer,

Our plugin only provides subscription form. Managing Newsletter & sending emails is still managed through your MailChimp.com account. So the feature you are looking for is not possible within our plugin.

If you have set up an “RSS to Email” campaign, then MailChimp would simply retrieve the latest post in your RSS feed. To choose which posts to add to this campaign, you could simply create a new “Category” and assign only those posts to this category which you need to be sent as an email. And lastly, you could change the RSS feed URL in your MailChimp campaign to the one that contains only posts from a certain category.

To get more details of various RSS feed from WordPress please check out https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/WordPress_Feeds.

You would need to add something like “http://www.example.com/?cat=42&feed=rss2” replacing “42” with the ID of your new category so that only the posts assigned to this category are submitted to your MailChimp campaign.

    I hope that helps.
