Chrome Cart issue

This plugin gives me an issue when I add a product to cart.
When you add a product to cart, you are redirected to the cart page.
This however shows an empty cart, until you reload the cart page.
This issue is only with chrome! (Webkit, so new Edge same issue).

Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

I disabled the plugin on my live site, but my test site still has the issue.
