Cimy User Extra Fields in multi-site installation problem

I’m using WP 3.2.1 and cimy user extra fields 2.1.1. When someone registers, their registration is not being assigned to the site, it is going in without any site ‘affiliation’. For instance, the main site is http://www.mainsite.com, with sub-sites such as abc.mainsite.com. If I register on http://www.mainsite.com, the registration is going into the system, but it isn’t being attached to http://www.mainsite.com like it used to be. I have to go in separately into the backend and add the new username to the site. I didn’t use to have to do this. Am I making any sense? I’m also using the latest version of TML. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
