Clarification for settings and setup

Hello,

I have setup the the invite admin anyone so group members cannot invite anyone to the group. Logged in as a member of the group, I cannot see the option of inviting people. All good and dandy.

Things are getting confusing when as admin of the group, I see on the settings page, the option for who can invite users to the group. It is set so that members can invite user to the group.

So this is a gray area.

– Should a group admin be able to choose and override the options setup by invite anyone plugin?
– Should there be a option of default setup on group creation?
– Should the admin menu have the invitation capability hidden?
– Should there be an option for an admin to override the options set in invite anyone plugin admin?

The features added are very nice, but this admin area in group seems to be doing nothing, and confusing admins. although the flexibility of keeping the options would be nice. At the moment, they seem to be options that don’t actually work, but worry and confuse admins.

How is the plugin intended to work in this area? I don’t think it has actually been considered to this fine grain control as yet and that the group admin area should just be hidden.
