Hi @manjeetwp681,
I must say that we never had such reports for Smush so far, the error does seem like something could be missing from your installation so Smush is unable to use it for its functions.
Can you try downloading fresh WP version and then replace your wp-admin and wp-includes folders with fresh files?
Make sure that you don’t touch wp-content folder on your server and replace only the above two.
I would also suggest making a full backup before proceeding with this.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers,
Predrag
Have you resolved this yet? I’m also seeing this behavior (WordPress 5.3.2)

Seeing this error…not resolved
Hi @jiggaman
Sorry to hear you are having this problem.
Could you please create a new ticket and you can take a look on your issue?
Best Regards

Hi!
I am getting the same error.
Is it resolved? What’s the solution?
Looking forward to hearing it!
Thanks!
Hi @leadstar116,
Unfortunately, this isn’t something we were able to replicate on our side to state what might be causing it. Since this is an old thread with no follow-ups with the initial user who has reported, we would highly recommend that it would be better to handle the issue your are facing in a new separate thread.
Could you please open up a new topic with us along with any steps with replicate the issue so that we could check further regarding this?
