Hi. I get a fatal error on the site every time an email was attempted, I’ve solved this by turning off email logging option, but can you make it so the plugin checks for the PDO php module and greys out the logging option with a warning? Looking at threads over the past year, it looks like you’ve been aware of this for ages. Keep up the good work. Excellent plugin.

    Hello @charlesrodmell,

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your proactive feedback. It is incredibly helpful to have users like you who take the time to suggest improvements that can enhance the experience for the entire community.

Regarding your suggestion to have the plugin detect the presence of the PDO PHP extension and automatically disable the logging feature with an accompanying warning, I want to be transparent about our current capabilities. At present, our product does not have the specific logic in place to perform this check automatically.

However, I have taken the liberty of logging this as an official feature request. Please rest assured that our R&D team will meticulously review your suggestion, assessing its potential benefits and technical feasibility. They will actively explore the possibility of implementing this check to prevent similar issues for other users. If it aligns with our product roadmap and meets our quality standards, it will be moved forward to our development team for further evaluation. If deemed viable, it may very well be included in a future release.

Thank you once again for your kind words about the plugin and for your continued support. It is truly a pleasure to have you as part of our community.

If there is anything else I can assist you with in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to ask!
