class short-code is not working

    Have you checked if it is rendered to the iframe?
    If it is you have to check if responsive-iframe-container to work on an iframe element. maybe it is only defined for a div in your css.

    Currently css is designed to work with div (all css entries are defined in theme style sheet)
    How to make it work with iframe element?

    This pure css. But I can not tell you if responsive-iframe-container is designed to work for the iframe element.
    You can e.g. add the styles your want directly to config -> style
