Hi @nick7268 – that’s a great question, and I can definitely understand you asking 🙂
At the moment the stated date of support is ‘2024’.
Hi, I’m joining the question. I would like a more concise answer, so we can start transitioning our clients to the block editor in time. We would of course prefer to stay with the Classic Editor as long as possible, since our clients don’t need and don’t use the full site editing system
Hi guys,
I would like to stay with the Classic Editor as well, just like Lea above and I am sure there are others who would prefer the same. It would be great if the Classic Editor is still supported beyond 2024 and we have the option to use either. Thanks

Hi folks,
The deadline remains set for 2024, but the team will continue to provide support as long as necessary.
Even if you’re not currently using the block editor, I recommend starting the transition as soon as possible. Over time, it will gradually become less compatible with other plugins/themes, and active support will decrease.

omg… this is bad, this is very bad
The classic editor is a great tool. It is simple, easy to use and has all the functionality I need.
Please keep supporting it indefinitely.
