• I created a page in visual mode and when I viewed what I created, it was a mess. I checked in text mode and there’s a ton of code that doesn’t normally appear. When I check the plugin area of my site, under Classic Editor it says “Plugin Dependency”.

Also there is no “deactivate” or “activate” there.

I wonder if it has to do with the latest wordpress update to 5.0.3?

The same thing is happening on another site I have.

Something’s wrong and I need to work on the site and can’t. Please help.

Doesn’t anyone support this plugin and answer questions here?

I’d like to know why I get the “Plugin Dependency” message instead of “deactivate” or “activate” under the plugin name.

Have you also installed the plugin “Classic Editor Addon”? If yes, try to deactivate that. Then you should be able to make settings for “Classic Editor”.
