Classic Editor: Toggle Visual and Text Modes
-
I originally posted this question at WordPress.com. A staffer there suggested that I ask in this forum. I do not (yet) know anything about using ww.wp.xz.cn, except if it is the same as WordPress.com. Apologies if I have been misdirected.
My question: in the WordPress.com classic editor, at least, there are tabs offering a choice between Visual and Text modes. Is there a hotkey that toggles that choice – leave one and switch to the other?
I ask because there seem to be classic editor hotkeys that WordPress.com staff know nothing about. For instance, in that same discussion, I mentioned my discovery that Ctrl-Shift-F toggles hiding or displaying the top and bottom material within the classic editor. Where there’s one hotkey that mystifies Gutenberg users, possibly there’s another.
