I have a few options I am trying to clean, in the hopes that my site will run faster. Is it ok to remove these?
_transient_wflginfl_#########
and _transient_timeout_wflginfl_#########
(where # is a random number)
I have a crap load of them, and think that they may be related to the Wordfence security plugin which I removed. I already dropped the tables for wordfence, but the options are still bloated.
Having those field in wp_options table will not effect your site speed that much I guess. If you are sure you may remove those but that’s not recomended.
I have well over 100 of them in there. If it won’t hurt, then I want to remove them, but if there is a chance that they are needed by something in WordPress, I will leave them in. Are they needed by WordPress?
I removed a couple things from the options, and the load speed has gone down, so I can only imagine that will also help to some extent.
