    Hi,

    as requested in the topic “Cleantalk blocking genuine users and orders” my new topic.

    In my case: Cleantalk blocks repeat users when ordering.

    I marked the customer as “Not SPAM” but it did not help. How long does it take until the customer can order again?

    Service #? Where would I find the Service #? License#?

    The issue occurs because some of the CleanTalk Anti-Spam data on your website is being cached. Please follow these steps:

    1. In WordPress Admin → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings:
      — Set “Set cookies” to Auto
      — Set “Use Anti-Spam by CleanTalk JavaScript library” to On
      — Click Save Changes
    2. Please configure WP Rocket according to our recommendations:
      https://cleantalk.org/help/cleantalk-and-wp-rocket
    3. Make sure the cache lifespan in WP Rocket is 24 hours or less — this is very important for correct Anti-Spam behavior.

    4. Clear all caches:
      — WP Rocket cache
      — Website/server cache
      — CDN cache (if used)

    After applying these steps, please monitor the Anti-Spam logs here: https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests.

    Hi,

    that´s a lot of settings to change!

    1.) those settings already existed

    2.) disable the ‘Activate Preloading ….This significantly worsens the loading times for my site – this doesn’t seem like a good suggestion in terms of usability + I never had JavaScript error Uncaught ReferenceError: ctPublicFunctions is not defined…so why would I change something in my settings for Delay JavaScript execution?

    3.) cache lifespan in WP Rocket is 24 hours or less

    4.) done

    We apologize for this issue and the inconvenience it caused.

    Please try this:
    WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “Store data in the website database (alternative mechanism)” —> Save Changes.

    After that, please clear the cache on your website again.
