• hello,

I got an email from LearnDash or Liquid press or whatever they call themselves these days that says there is a conflict with your plugin that is affecting my site. This is the message, please resolve the issue:

WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Security by CleanTalk.

First, visit your website (https://esolcentre-lms.uk/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://esolcentre-lms.uk/wp-login.php) and check for any visible issues.

    Hello,

Could you provide us with more details about the issue? Are there any PHP errors in your web server’s PHP logs?

    Thank you for the details.

Please check if you have the file ../wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall/lib/CleantalkSP/SpbctWP/Scanner/Surface.php.

If not, please download it from here or simply reinstall the plugin. If the problem recurs, you will need to determine what on your site might be deleting this file.

    Hello @esolcentre,

We’ve discovered that something is deleting the file Surface.php of our Security plugin that is located here: security-malware-firewall\lib\CleantalkSP\SpbctWP\Scanner\Surface.php. It causes the errors.

Please reinstall the Security plugin to fix the issue. The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress-security

Additionally, we need to clarify a few details to determine what can delete the file. Unfortunately, I’m not able to find your email address to contact. Could you please email us at [email protected] or open a ticket in our private support system: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

    Thank you.

Thank you. We’ve replied you there.

To delete the plugin, please remove the Security plugin folder:

    1. Log in to your Hosting Account.
    2. Locate the folder of your website.
    3. Delete the plugin folder “cleantalk-spam-protect” here:

    • WORDPRESS_ROOT_FOLDER/wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall
