    BTW, great plugin!

Thanks! We’d love a review, if you haven’t already left one. 🙂

Question: Is it advisable to clear the cache after updating a plugin?

That depends on the type of plugin you’re installing: If the plugin is an admin-only plugin (e.g., it only adds some feature to the WordPress Dashboard and does not affect anything on the front-end of the website), then no, there’s no good reason to clear the cache.

However, if the plugin does affect the front-end of the website in some way, then yes, you should clear the cache.

ZenCache automatically takes care of clearing the cache when necessary, in most scenarios. For example, if you change some settings on a plugin, ZenCache will detect that you’re saving changes and usually clear the cache for you to make sure that your site content stays current. ZenCache is quite intelligent in that manner, but we can’t cover every scenario, so we’re constantly working to improve that intelligence.
