• Hi. We’re shipping products with Royal Mail Click and Drop Tracked. Click and Drop passes the tracking information to Woocommerce as a Customer Note. We would like to include this note in the Order Complete email (sent when the order is marked as despatched), instead of it appearing in a separate Customer Note email that arrives afterwards.

    We’re currently using Kadence to customise the email templates.

    We’re not very comfortable editing the theme files. Is it possible to put the note in the order complete email template some other way?

    The best we can think of so far is to turn off the Order Complete emails and make the Customer Note email look like an Order Complete email. But that will cause problems down the line.

    Thanks for reaching out! There isn’t a built-in function to merge these two email types, sorry. I’ll check with the developer and see if he has any advice for you.

    I suggest you reach out to Royal Mail Click and Drop Tracked and ask them to integrate into the complete order email instead of adding a note to the customer. Most tracking plugins have an option to do this so it’s not something new and they are who you would need to make the edits to get the setup you want. Our plugin won’t control things like this.

    Thanks for the feedback both, the best option at the moment might be to use someone other than Royal Mail – it’s starting to look like they’re more trouble than they’re worth…
