You have a link on the slide and on the button layer as well. Adding a slide link means that any click on the slide (including the button) launches the slide link.
You should remove the link from the slide and rather have it on the button only, as that’s more obvious for the visitors of your site.

I am glad Ramona could help!
I see you managed to fix the problem, since clicking on the “Read More” buttons, no longer opens multiple pages, so I mark this topic as resolved.
Anyway we created a fix for this problem, so in the future releases specifying a link on the slide and another in the Link field of a layer will no longer open both links, but only the one that way specified on the layer.
