Clicking plugin button does nothing

I installed the plugin and it shows up on the editor page. When clicking the button’s arrow, the menu shows up. When clicking on any of the menu options the loading screen shows up along with the darker background overlay, and then goes away after a second. The darker background overlay stays without anything happening. When clicking any part of the background the dark overlay goes away and I am back to square one.

Running macOS. Any solutions?
