This plugin simply outputs the information that Disqus provides, including the HTML markup for links.
If the links are broken I would say there is (or was) an issue the Disqus system at the time.
Looking at the websites I have this running on the links are working at the moment – can you confirm if this is the case for you?
It is now working for me, what worked? was it the great many changes i made or something you did?
Im 90% sure I saw the same issue on my website earlier this week, I remember at one point clicking on the article title and it only loaded the home page … so I would say the Disqus system was spitting out back links.
I suppose something that may be concerning is this plugin uses the “old” way of getting a Disqus comments list and eventually they will stop it. Hopefully that isnt happening soon!
There is another plugin on the WordPress Plugin Directory that uses the “new” way – but I prefer this way.
