Hi, randomly, customers of my shop disappear from users list.
no trace of data anywhere
I still have the orders, but not the related customers.
Don’t know how to fix it but it’s a big matter.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. If there is a specific time or way to reproduce the issue, you can do so with the following steps:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. thanks for your explanation, unfortunately this is a e-shop so actions you suggest require to put the site offline that means stop our business.
moreover, since users are generally deleted after 7-10 days from first registration, before ending the test for all of the plugin…..is summertime.
So, any other options or suggestions??I would suggest testing that on a staging site, that way you don’t have to take down the live site and can test without disruptions.
I haven’t heard this issue reported before, so another thing I’d suggest is checking with the host to see if there are any backup/restore functionalities on the server, or anything that may be deleting data from the site

Unfortunately your suggestion cannot be applied because on a staging site no users register so there is nothing to be tested.
