Client-Side or Server-Side
-
Hello
Is your plugin Client Side or Server Side?
Does it mean server side or client side calculations?
-
Hello @bakhshi
Client Side calculations by default, but installing the Developer version of the plugin it is possible to implement the equations with server side code, using the “CFF – SERVER SIDE EQUATIONS” add-on.
More information about this add-on in the following posts of the plugin’s blog:
Best regards.
that’s mean
If I want my functions in the Calculated Fields not to be seen in the Browser page source!Should this field be server side?
Are the contents of the server side fields non-copyable?Hello @bakhshi
Exactly, if you want the source of your equations won’t be sent to the browser, you should implement them with server-side code, using the “SERVER SIDE EQUATIONS” add-on distributed with the Developer and Platinum versions of the plugin.
Best regards.
thank you
sorry
I want to make sure before buying your plugin!
in the Form Controls with Datasource Connection in the demo version.
is this section for server-side?
Doesn’t this section have a Calculated Field?Hello @bakhshi
First, the online demo does not include the “CFF – SERVER SIDE EQUATIONS” add-on, because this website is accessible for every one, so, we don’t allow to define server side equations in the online demo.
Concerning to the DS controls, these are a set of controls whose values are read from external data-sources, like a database or CSV file, of course, the SQL queries associated to the fields, or the code that read the CSV files are executed in the server side. More information about the use of DS fields visiting the following post in the plugin’s blog:
