Figured it out. I needed to add a spacer to the current editor.
While I’m here… is there any way to set the post summary at a certain location rather than right after the photo? Some of my photos are different sizes and it looks really off having the summary start in different spots each post… you’ll see what I mean when you check out my site’s front page.
I can work to get the images to be all the same sizes, but I don’t know of a way how. I use Microsoft Office 2010 to format the photos… but sometimes I need to crop them in WordPress and the cropped photos do not appear as cropped in the Latest Post – they are the original upload… any advice?
Hi,
Thanks your auto-reply 🙂
Usually the latest news images are from WordPress thumbnail, medium or large sizes. But if your image width is smaller than the thumbnail size it may not be aligned. Your first image is only 101px width and your thumbnail size is 150px width.
Just upload a larger one or you can force the image width with css but the display quality will be bad looking.
Cheers,
So I was able to fix the photos, still have a little touching up to do to make them even like I wanted.. but I’ve come across another issue. My picture size is too small. If I increase the size outside of ‘thumbnail’ it gets cutoff. I have been able to increase the size by increasing the Total Width, however, it also increases the width of the text to the right of the picture. How can I increase the photo size, but not increase the width of the description text?
Sorry, can you put your new image online to take a look, I still see the small ones.
Cheers,

I want the images to be about the size they are in first image. But as you can see, when I get that size, the width of the description is stretched. I would like the width of the text to go as far as it does in the second image.
I also noticed that one of the words got cut off on the far right side of the page and reappeared on the left side of the page.
Hi,
There’s some CSS in the theme that does that to the layout. I can’t check this on a screenshot 🙂
