Clone SSL site to regular HTTP

    I just took on a new client with an existing site hosted by Singlehop. The old developer was giving them the runaround on some things so I am taking the site over. I have access to WordPress but not the FTP creds. My client just purchased Managed WordPress from GoDaddy and I set up a staging site. Now I’d like to copy the existing site over to the staging site. The existing site is SSL and the staging is regular HTTP. Can I use Duplicator to do this? The existing site is using Really Simple SSL so I’m thinking of reverting back to HTTP for the cloning. I tried using ManageWP earlier but got the white screen of death after cloning, not sure why.

    Hey @crosstherubicon

    It should. Just pay attention to step 3 of the installer URLs. Also it some cases if you run into issues, try to deactivate the plugins step 3 options if you run into issues.
